Books
Okay, you've read the Substack posts (and maybe you're a little bit confused if that's where you started). Wondering who all of these characters are? Thinking you need a refresher on past books?
Here you go… in publishing order for the Crowhill Cove universe (you can read them in any order you like, though the as-published order will prevent spoilers for the pairings!).
First, and actually out of published order (I broke my own rule already!) - the current serialisation, Hydropower, which does NOT require any previous knowledge of the Crowhill Cove universe:
Queer romances following one group of friends from college through adulthood:
Books 1-5 Boxset (only on Kindle Unlimited)
Don’t Move Your Desk serial, available on Amazon, Kobo, Google Play and Barnes & Noble) or here on Substack:
Coming between December 2024 and August 2025. Queer romances following the chefs, waiters, and owner of a restaurant that only hires gay staff:
If you’ve read all of the above and you want to read more of my work, you can read more short stories in the same universe over under the Shorts and Serializations tag (but be aware that after 60 days, everything goes behind the paywall, so you’ll need to be a paid subscriber to read the older stories. But the good news is, that’s cheap!).
Then there’s my *other* series, Serial Investigations. This is not connected to the Crowhill Cove universe and stands alone having been published before the first Crowhill Cove books, but is already a pretty lengthy series at 12 books + 2 novellas. This is a very slow-burn queer romance, but largely centres around the mysteries and murders solved by a pair of private detectives and their friends in the Met:
1: Bloodless
4: Blood Sucker
5: Blood Sport
5.5: Blood on Poinsettia, a Christmas novella
9: Blood Magic
9.5: Blood on Holly, a Christmas novella
10: Blood Trail
11: Blood Work
12: Blood Pumping
Serial Investigations 1-5 boxset
Serial Investigations 6-10 boxset
(If you’re wondering whether any more are coming: yes, I have more books planned in this series. However, as things stand at the moment, I need it to be more profitable - which means more sales and more people waiting for that 13th main-series book - before I can dedicate any real time to it.)
And if you still want more? Read my whole back catalogue, including more free short stories published in various literary magazines, on my website at rhiannondaverc.co.uk.
